The 6-foot-3 Phoenix native will impress while at Kentucky. He has the abilities on and off the ball and the polish that you rarely see from a player that is entering their freshman season. Washington Jr. has no glaring weaknesses on the college level and appears to have a good enough jumpshot that will assist in providing spacing for the Wildcats. The word that is most used coming out of off-season work is poise. In the exhibition against Kentucky Wesleyan Oct. 29, his defensive anticipation was impressive in the passing lanes.

JD might as well stand for "jams and dunks" because this is what the Alabama point guard is most known for. Davison has the rawest athleticism from the 2021 high school class at his position. Davison has a solid frame -- 6-foot-3,195 pounds -- and a solid first step as well so he should be someone who lives in the paint, especially in transition. If his shooting and decision-making come around, then he will have the most upside at the position going into the 2022 NBA Draft. Can't teach his tools.

If you made a dictionary for positions in college basketball and you look up what does a point guard means, this would be the man you see as the definition. Chandler is a textbook floor general who can score, but he prefers to run the show that brings out the best of his supporting group. The Memphis native may be small -- 6-foot, 171 pounds -- for the position and not overly athletic, but he takes care of the rock and organizes your offense. Chandler is the reverse of Davison if you think about it. Even without the measurables, he was the No. 1 ranked point guard (No. 10 overall) on the ESPN 100 for a reason. Expect him to lead this Tennessesee team to a top-5 finish in the SEC.
